WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Each year, judges review budgets and financial practices of city governments, compiling those results and submitting them to determine the winners of that year’s Government Finance Officers Association Awards.

Wichita Falls has won the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award, Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting and the Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award for fiscal year 2023 - a trio of recognitions that mark Wichita Falls as a winner of the prestigious “Triple Crown” bevy of awards.
