LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Watches, tailored suits, and guns seized from former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel are now for sale to the highest bidder.

The profits will go toward the restitution that Noel has been ordered to pay.

Freije & Freije Auctions retrieved the items from the Indiana State Police post in Sellersburg in late December. Now dozens of items are listed on the company's website as part of its annual New Year's Day auction.

The proceeds will be allocated toward the $3.1 million Noel owes in restitution . The former sheriff was ordered to pay the restitution after he pleaded guilty to 27 felonies related to fraud and theft. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison this October.

The auction started at 10 a.m. New Year's Day at 2340 W US HWY 40, Clayton, Ind. 46118. Online bids are also being accepted.

In addition to items seized from Noel, other items are up for auction. The items related to Noel say specifically, "... SELLING ON BEHALF OF CLARK COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT 1 SEIZED DURING THE JAMEY NOEL INVESTIGATION" in the details online.

Vehicles from Noel's extensive car collection aren't part of this auction.

Other property is still being held and can't be put up for auction yet, because it's still relevant in the pending cases of Noel's estranged wife, Misty, and daughter, Kasey.
