Enjoy the holiday lights of the city from the comfort of a heated trolley.

Baltimore is famous for many of its holiday traditions, including the holiday light displays. From the famous 34th Street display in Camden to the Washington Monument in Mount Vernon, holiday lights in the city are second to none. But driving around and finding parking to see each one individually can be a pain. The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court hotel is making it easy and fun with its annual Holly Jolly Lights Tour.

Hop aboard the Holly Jolly Trolley for a two-hour tour of the best light displays in Baltimore. You’ll board the trolley at the Royal Sonesta Hotel and head over to Harbor East, Fells Point, and Canton. The next leg of the tour stops in Hampden, where guests can de-trolley and walk down to the famous 34th Street or “Christmas Street.” The Baltimore neighborhood has been decorating for Christmas since 1947, the same year the movie Miracle on 34th Street came out. The decor is full of holiday nostalgia, unique art, and model train displays.

The last leg of the tour is in the Mount Vernon neighborhood, home to the original Washington Monument. The 178-foot marble monument is decorated every year from top to bottom and dedicated with a lighting ceremony and fireworks show hosted by the Mayor of Baltimore.

The Holly Jolly Trolley Lights Tour begins on December 7 and runs through January 1, 2020. The trolley runs twice each night, and tickets are $15.95 for kids and $29.95 for adults. Guests can buy holiday treats and beverages in the Formula Espresso Café to take on the trolley.

After the tour, stop by the hotel’s Gastropub, and get 15 percent off your bill with a ticket stub. Discounted parking in the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court parking garage is also available with validation.
