There’s a chill in the air and a new hue to the trees around town, and you know what that means? Fall has (finally) arrived!

Now, we may be biased, but in our opinion, fall is AMAZING. The cooler air and softer mornings, stunning sunrises, and more excuses to wear sweaters ... the list goes on and on. 

Color

Fall foliage is, in a word, be-a-utiful. Seeing what was once green turn to striking yellow, orange, red, and purple reminds us of the sheer beauty in the world. Everything looks like a painting in fall, even an otherwise boring street.

Hot Drinks

With delicious offerings like the Pumpkin Spice Latte or the brand-new Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew from Starbucks, you'll stay nice and cozy all season long. Plus, there are plenty of Starbucks secret menu hacks for the Halloween season that you have to try, including a Jack Skellington Frappe, a Pennywise Frappe, and more.

Food

There’s something more comforting about the foods that are popular during the fall. Things like soup and casseroles become more common as the weather cools down. Plus, making your own delicious hot meals seems less of a chore when it’s cool and misty outside.

Rain

Rain is the best weather, hands down. We especially love the excuse it gives you to stay inside with a good book or a few movies all day. Not to mention, it somehow smells better in fall than in spring or summer, too.

Crunchy Leaves

Leaves on the ground are just ... fun, no matter how old you are. Simple as that.

Sunrises and Sunsets

Basically, everything is better in the fall—including sunrises and sunsets. And when they contrast with the changing leaves, you're in for a treat!

Fires

Curling up by the fire on a cool fall day, knowing you don’t have to leave that spot unless you want to, is just about the best feeling in the world.

Sweaters, Scarves, and Boots

The return of fall also means the return of sweater weather! Being able to bundle up in four layers of warm sweaters, soft scarves, and cute boots is one reason why we think fall is the absolute best!

Snuggly Blankets

Maybe this is just is, but we love cold mornings. There’s no better feeling than waking up snuggled under three extra blankets, knowing you can just add another layer if you need it.
