Columbia police responded to north Columbia for reports of an assault on Thursday night.

At least five police vehicles responded to the 1200 block of Elleta Boulevard around 6:15 p.m.

Columbia Police Department spokesperson Sarah Yoro-Massad said in an email that the case is "classified as an assault" and that no further information was available.
