Check out these long-term RV parks!

RV life is a fantastic way to explore the country! Some RVers enjoy taking their vehicles on the road during certain times of the year, while others choose actually to live in their RV full-time. I thought it would be fun to explore some of the best RV parks to live in long-term.

One thing to keep in mind here is amenities. You'll likely want to stay somewhere with the ability to shower, but whether or not you want more luxurious offerings such as swimming pools is up to you. I'm probably biased since I live here, but Colorado is the place to be! There is so much access to outdoor adventure that makes it the perfect state to live in. If you wish to live in your RV long-term in Colorado, here's where you should stay. Let's get into it!

Cheyenne Mountain State Park Campground - Colorado Springs, CO

There's plenty to explore in the Springs, and luckily, this campground is open year-round! Whether you enjoy mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, or sightseeing, there's no lack of activities here. The campground also offers seasonal coin-operated showers, laundry machines, and even a playground and activity room for the kids! This campground is only 10 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs, meaning you can have both nature and city life at your fingertips. A full-hookup campsite will cost you $41 per day, which works out to be less than most rent charges here in Denver!

Mesa Verde RV Resort - Mancos, CO

If you're looking for the best bathrooms around, this is the campground for you! In all seriousness, Mesa Verde Resort takes pride in maintaining impeccable bathrooms, which is always a plus. Beyond that, this resort offers free Wi-Fi, 2 hot tubs, a heated pool, a convenience store, 24/7 laundry facilities, and more. It is also family-owned, meaning you will find an extra dedicated and friendly staff. The owners even live on-site, and work campers also stay onsite to help guests. This RV Resort is open year-round, perfect for long-term RVers. Attractions include Mesa Verde National Park, Cortez Cultural Center, and rafting, among plenty of others!

Aspen Ridge RV Park - South Fork, CO

This spot is open from the spring to the fall, with unlimited days available to campers! Features include water and sewer hookups, fish cleaning stations, a reservable outdoor pavilion with a firepit, and more. The clubhouse space even includes a full kitchen and an iron and ironing board! Nearby the campsite you will find pickleball courts, shopping, and a hot springs pool at Pagosa Springs. This RV camp even hosts events such as breakfasts and potlucks to create a community feeling. The campground is located near plenty of outdoor adventures, including the Great Sand Dunes National Park, which is about an hour and a half away.

Durango RV Park - Durango, CO

This spot is for adults only, so would be best for people without kids who want to enjoy an environment that matches their lifestyle. It is open year-round, with a minimum stay of 6 months, meaning it is certainly a place for long-term campers. The campsite is peaceful and surrounded by mountains, providing the perfect setting to relax. The site includes laundry machines and free Wi-Fi. There's plenty to do fairly close to the campsite, including golfing, museums, hiking, and a train ride.
